While Hokes Bluff's win against Sand Rock wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Eagles narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Wildcats 4-3. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Alexis Colvard, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March.

Hokes Bluff's victory bumped their record up to 19-13. As for Sand Rock, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-12.

Looking ahead, Hokes Bluff will head out on the road to face off against Oneonta at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sand Rock, they will challenge Gaston at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
