The Victoria East Titans will challenge the Lamar Consolidated Mustangs at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Victoria East will be strutting in after a victory while Lamar Consolidated will be coming in after a loss.

Victoria East is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. Their defense stepped up to hand Fort Bend Marshall a 5-0 shutout on Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Titans needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Lamar Consolidated's offense. They lost 8-0 to Randle on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Mustangs in their meetings with the Lions: they've now lost four in a row.

Lamar Consolidated's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Victoria East, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 4-11.
