Football Recap: Scituate's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Scituate had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 34.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 26-7 victory over the North Quincy Raiders. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Sailors' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts football rankings (they are ranked 17th, while the Raiders are ranked 87th).

Scituate's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for North Quincy, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Scituate will challenge rival Hanover at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, North Quincy is set to square off against their familiar foe Plymouth South at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
