Softball Recap: Seaford Comes Up Short

Seaford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Delmar Wildcats, falling 10-0. If the Bluejays were looking for revenge after losing 16-1 to the Wildcats when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Seaford's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Delmar, their win bumped their record up to 9-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Seaford will welcome Milford at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Buccaneers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.25 runs per game on average), something the Bluejays will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Delmar, they will challenge Caesar Rodney at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
