Softball Recap: Firestone Comes Up Short

Firestone was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Ellet Orangemen, falling 24-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Orangemen this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 back in March.

Firestone's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Ellet, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Firestone will face off against rival North at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Ellet is set to square off against their familiar foe East at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
