Flag Football Recap: Emily Sandres' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Foshay over Santee

Foshay entered their contest against Santee on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The game between the Wolverines and the Falcons didn't end well, with the Wolverines falling 22-6. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 33-0 back in September.

Foshay lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Emily Sandres, who threw for 210 yards and one touchdown while picking up 10.5 yards per attempt. A healthy portion of that aerial production (90 yards to be exact) went to Jasmine Sandoval.

Foshay's defeat dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Santee, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 20-6.

As of now, neither Foshay nor the Falcons have any future games scheduled.
