Stansbury gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 26-23 victory over the Skyline Eagles. The Stallions' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Among those leading the charge was Brighton Reutzel, who threw for 278 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 12.6 yards per attempt. Those 278 passing yards gave him a new career-high.
