Clinton entered their tilt with Nipmuc Regional on Monday with seven consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with eight. They blew past the Nipmuc Regional Warriors 71-36. Given the Gaels' advantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 19th, while the Warriors are ranked 102nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Clinton's win bumped their record up to 19-1. As for Nipmuc Regional, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 13-7 record this season.
