Sheridan and East squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Sheridan had to settle for second. They took a 50-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the East Thunderbirds. The Broncs' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Sheridan's defeat dropped their record down to 16-6. As for East, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-3 record this season.

Sheridan will challenge Campbell County at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Sheridan will be up against Campbell County's rather soft defense (which has allowed 50.2 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. East does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
