Baseball Recap: Wilson Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Wilson lost against Covina back in April of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wildcats lost 19-2 to the Colts. The contest marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Wilson saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joshua Garcia, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Karl Cruz was another, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in both of his plate appearances.

Wilson's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-4. As for Covina, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season.

While Wilson had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
