Basketball Game Preview: Upper Sandusky Rams vs. Colonel Crawford Eagles

Upper Sandusky hasn't had much luck against Colonel Crawford recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Upper Sandusky Rams will head out on the road to square off against the Colonel Crawford Eagles at 6:30 p.m.

Last Tuesday, Upper Sandusky was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 53-47 to Bellevue. The Rams were up 33-13 in the second quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

Meanwhile, Colonel Crawford waltzed into their match on Saturday with ten straight wins... but they left with 11. They claimed a resounding 58-31 win over the Tigers. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 23 points or more this season.

Upper Sandusky's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 10-3. As for Colonel Crawford, they pushed their record up to 11-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Upper Sandusky couldn't quite finish off Colonel Crawford in their previous matchup back in December of 2024 and fell 44-42. Can Upper Sandusky avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
