Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Gloria Deo Academy walked away with it. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the El Paso HomeSchool Panthers 54-4. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Gloria Deo Academy has been performing well recently as they've won 13 of their last 16 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 25-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.6 points over those games. As for El Paso HomeSchool, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.

Coming up, Gloria Deo Academy will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Texas Wind at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
