Margaretta won the last time they faced St. Mary Central Catholic and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Margaretta Polar Bears really took it to the St. Mary Central Catholic Panthers for the full four quarters, racking up a 72-41 victory. The Polar Bears have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 games by 21 points or more this season.

Margaretta pushed their record up to 20-1 with the win, which was their 21st straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 28 points. As for St. Mary Central Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 7-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Margaretta will face off against Willard at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Willard knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Margaretta likes a good challenge. As for St. Mary Central Catholic, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Gibsonburg at 7:00 p.m.
