Volleyball Recap: West Comes Up Short

West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Palos Verdes Sea Kings. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Sea Kings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

West's defeat dropped their record down to 13-16-1. As for Palos Verdes, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-9-1 record this season.

West will square off against Carson at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Palos Verdes, they will challenge South at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
