Basketball Recap: Frankfort Victorious

Frankfort lost to Moorefield back in March of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Frankfort Falcons came out on top against the Moorefield Yellow Jackets by a score of 48-38. The 48-point effort marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Frankfort now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Moorefield, they dropped their record down to 3-5 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Frankfort will host Pendleton County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Moorefield, they will face off against Petersburg at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Petersburg knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Moorefield likes a good challenge.
