Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fayette County). They walked away with a 21-8 win over Drew on Thursday.

Leilani Boswell threw for 81 yards and two touchdowns while completing 77.8% of her passes. Dominique Weaver was her top target, picking up 43 receiving yards and one TD.

Fayette County's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Drew, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Coming up, Fayette County will square off against Lovejoy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Drew, after both having extra time off, they and Landmark Christian will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 5:30 p.m. on the 21st. The War Eagles' defense has only allowed 6.2 points per game this season, so Drew's offense will have their work cut out for them.
