Baseball Preview: Pearl City Chargers vs. Mililani Trojans

The Pearl City Chargers will look to defend their home field against the Mililani Trojans at 11:00 a.m. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Wednesday, Pearl City faced Nanakuli in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Pearl City walked away with an 8-5 win over Nanakuli. The victory was nothing new for Pearl City as they're now sitting on three straight.

Pearl City got a great performance from Jase Lorenzo as he didn't allow a single earned run over six innings pitched. Halona Felix relieved him and did a solid job, tossing five innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off seven hits.

Meanwhile, Mililani sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-1 win over Waipahu on Wednesday.

The victory got Pearl City back to even at 3-3. As for Mililani, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.
