It was a good run, but Arrowhead Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Houston Mustangs by a score of 5-3.

Arrowhead Christian got a good showing from Ethan Estrada, who didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. What's more, Estrada posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2024.

At the plate, Diesel Toth made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple was his first of the season.

Arrowhead Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Houston, they moved to 6-4 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.
