Park Ridge dropped their record down to 5-12 on Monday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They came up short against the New Milford Knights, falling 14-3. The Owls were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

As for New Milford, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-8 record this season. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

For New Milford's part, Kyle Dunne was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with five stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. Those three runs gave Dunne a new career-high. Jesse Brophy was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Park Ridge will host Cresskill at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for New Milford, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Waldwick at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Knights are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
