Metro Tech waltzed into their match on Wednesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. Everything went their way against the Central Bobcats as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on Friday.

One reason for the win was Metro Tech's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-19, 25-15.

Herubiel Soto Angulo paced Metro Tech's offense, picking up 16 kills. Soto Angulo got some help from Dilan Estrada Ordonez and his 39 assists. Finally, Soto Angulo was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Metro Tech's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-3. As for Central, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.

Metro Tech didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against McClintock on the 28th. As for Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against South Mountain on the 30th.
