Baseball Recap: Cole Valley Christian Comes Up Short

Cole Valley Christian fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Payette on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 6-2 to the Pirates. The Chargers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Pirates earlier this season, when they won 9-7.

Cole Valley Christian saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cole Morgan, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and one double.

This is the second loss in a row for Cole Valley Christian and nudges their season record down to 21-5. As for Payette, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-10.

As of now, neither Cole Valley Christian nor the Pirates have any future games scheduled.
