Baseball Recap: Pacheco's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

The matchup between Pacheco and Grace Davis on Tuesday hardly resembled the 3-1 effort from their previous meeting. The Panthers walked away with a 12-9 win over the Spartans. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Panthers as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Nathan Rogers was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching five innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than one walk in ten consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

Pacheco's win bumped their record up to 5-11. As for Grace Davis, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-9.
