Edgar's rock-solid pitchers showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Shell Lake Lakers a 12-0 shutout. Considering the Wildcats have won three matches by more than nine runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Edgar's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Shell Lake, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Edgar wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 10-6 defeat against Brillion on the 11th. As for Shell Lake, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 11-10 victory against Reedsville on the 12th.
