Volleyball Recap: Head-Royce's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Friday

It was a good run, but Head-Royce unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 3-1 to the St. Joseph Notre Dame Pilots. The Jayhawks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Pilots earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-17, 14-25, 25-13.

Head-Royce's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 10-5. As for St. Joseph Notre Dame, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Head-Royce will face off against rival Redwood Christian at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, St. Joseph Notre Dame is set to challenge their familiar foe College Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
