Volleyball Recap: Sacred Heart Comes Up Short

Sacred Heart lost against Stover back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Gremlins took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs.

Addison Figge paced Sacred Heart's offense, picking up ten kills. Figge got some help from Ava Judd and her 15 assists. Finally, Bailee Vogel kept Sacred Heart's defense grounded, leading the team with five blocks.

Sacred Heart's loss dropped their record down to 11-9-1. As for Stover, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-7-3.

Sacred Heart will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Northwest at 11:00 a.m. As for Stover, they will head out to challenge Skyline at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
