Volleyball Recap: Sacred Heart Takes a Loss

Sacred Heart lost against Stover back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Gremlins fell 2-0 to the Bulldogs.

Addison Figge paced Sacred Heart's offense, picking up ten kills. Figge got some help from Ava Judd and her 15 assists. Finally, Bailee Vogel kept Sacred Heart's defense grounded, leading the team with five blocks.

Leading Stover to victory were Lainee Menning and Teagan Morris. Menning had 11 digs, while Morris had eight digs.

Sacred Heart's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9-1. As for Stover, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-7-3 record this season.

Sacred Heart has already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Northwest on the 11th. As for Stover, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Cole Camp on the 11th.
