            Volleyball Recap: Platte Valley Broncos vs. Woodland Park Panthers        
        
		
        
        
            After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Air Academy, Platte Valley was happy to have turned things around  on Friday. They walked away with  a   3-1  victory over the Woodland Park Panthers.
 Addy Grossnickle was the offensive standout of the  matchup as she  had 15  digs and two  aces. What's more,  she posted two  assists, the most she's  had since back in September.
 Grossnickle wasn't the only good servers: Platte Valley  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 12  aces. The Broncos are 6-1 when  they serve at least ten aces.
Platte Valley has  been performing  well recently as they've  won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record  this season. As for Woodland Park,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 7-14.
 Coming up, Platte Valley will be taking part in a tournament against Grandview  at 9:45  a.m.  on Saturday. Woodland Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
