Softball Recap: Madison Marlins vs. Milby Buffs

Madison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell victim to a rough 16-0 defeat at the hands of the Milby Buffs. Considering the last time Madison couldn't score was back in February, the team can't take the result too hard.

For Milby's part, Sophia Fernandez made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Fernandez was also solid in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
