Soccer Game Preview: Yoakum vs. John F. Kennedy

Yoakum is 0-4 against John F. Kennedy since February of 2023 but things could change on Tuesday. The Yoakum Bulldogs will be playing in front of their home fans against the John F. Kennedy Rockets at 7:00 p.m.

Yoakum is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their seventh straight game on Tuesday. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Cole. That's two games in a row now that the Bulldogs have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask John F. Kennedy). They walked away with a 7-5 win over San Antonio Memorial on Friday. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Rockets' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 727th, while the Minutemen are ranked 360th).

John F. Kennedy's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-9. As for Yoakum, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.
