Bishop Carroll waltzed into their matchup on Monday with five straight wins... but they left with six. Everything went their way against the Glendale Vikings as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Huskies have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Vikings, too.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-21, 25-13.

Kylee Newfield was the offensive standout of the match as she had 12 digs. That's the most digs she has posted over her last six contests.

Bishop Carroll was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Glendale only served three.

When it comes to explaining why Glendale lost, don't look at Rachel McClellan. Despite the final result, she had 14 digs, 12 kills, and one block. McClellan has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more kills the last four times she's played. Madilyn Skebeck was another key player, getting seven digs and six blocks.

Bishop Carroll's victory bumped their record up to 12-9-2. As for Glendale, their defeat ended a six-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-12-1.

Bishop Carroll didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Westmont Hilltop on the 7th. As for Glendale, they are taking a road trip to challenge West Branch at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
