Recap: Catoosa Indians vs. Wagoner Bulldogs
The Catoosa Indians's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their 16th straight loss. They were outmatched by Wagoner on the road and fell 62-18. Catoosa has not had much luck with Wagoner recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Lexi Buckmaster was Catoosa's leading scorer, having posted six points.
Jacquelyn Cornwell held things down on the boards with five rebounds. She took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with three assists.
Catoosa dropped their record down to 2-17 with that defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Wagoner, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-6.
Catoosa will head out on the road to square off against Fort Gibson at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Fort Gibson presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Catoosa in Oklahoma (Fort Gibson is ranked 25th, while Catoosa is ranked 402nd). As for Wagoner, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Locust Grove at 6:00 p.m. on February 2nd.
