Softball Recap: Central Bucks West Extends Winning Streak to Three

Central Bucks West extended their winning streak to three on Thursday, bumping their season record up to 7-4 in the process. They were the clear victors by a 16-2 margin over the Hatboro-Horsham Hatters. Considering the Bucks have won five matchups by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Ana Glemser made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. Glemser was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Central Bucks West got a massive performance out of Marley Swain, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, two doubles, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Taylor Hooven, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI and two runs.

Central Bucks West always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .606. The last time their OBP was this high was back in May of 2024.

As for Hatboro-Horsham, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season. As for they, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-6.

On Hatboro-Horsham's side, Annabelle Deacon made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run. Daniella Frank also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.
