Volleyball Recap: Xavier Prep Triumphs

Xavier Prep won the last time they faced San Jacinto and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Saints came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Saints.

Xavier Prep got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the second set. The final score came out to 25-16, 28-30, 25-17, 25-8.

Arianna Padilla had a dynamite game, getting 33 digs and two aces. Those 33 digs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Annabel Frederick, who had ten digs, two aces, and one block.

Xavier Prep's win bumped their record up to 10-1. As for San Jacinto, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Xavier Prep will welcome Arrowhead Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for San Jacinto, they will host Los Osos at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
