Soccer Recap: Ganesha Comes Up Short

Ganesha was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 6-0 to the Vista Murrieta Broncos. While losing is never fun, the Giants can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 815th, while the Broncos are ranked 144th).

Ganesha's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8-1. As for Vista Murrieta, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3-2.

Ganesha will challenge Damien at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Vista Murrieta, they will take on Lakeside at 3:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Vista Murrieta is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.7 goals per game this season.
