Lincoln Southwest barely beat Lincoln East the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Silver Hawks were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Spartans on Friday. Lincoln Southwest's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last five games.

They hit Lincoln East with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Mallory Arehart, Peyton Held, and Ansley Throener.

Lincoln Southwest pushed their record up to 11-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three contests. As for Lincoln East, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 9-3 record.
