Clarksville Academy extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Sicily Robinson Ellington. The Clarksville Academy Cougars put the hurt on the Friendship Christian Commanders with a sharp 58-37 win on Saturday thanks in part to Robinson Ellington, who went 6 for 13 on her way to 18 points in addition to eight boards and five assists. She has been hot recently, having also posted three or more steals the last three times she's played.

Clarksville Academy's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 9-6. As for Friendship Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.
