Basketball Game Preview: Blaine Borderites vs. Sedro-Woolley Cubs

The Blaine Borderites just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Sedro-Woolley Cubs at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

Blaine came up short against Mount Vernon on Friday, falling 57-36. While losing is never fun, the Borderites can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 259th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 86th).

Meanwhile, Sedro-Woolley didn't have quite enough to beat Meridian on Wednesday and fell 45-42.

Blaine's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Sedro-Woolley, their loss dropped their record down to 8-11.
