Volleyball Recap: Wooster Has No Trouble Against Sparks

Wooster's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Sparks Railroaders. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Wooster not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Sparks between 13 and 16 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-13, 25-15.

Belen Rivera had an outrageously good game as she had 19 digs and one assist. That's the most digs she has posted since back in September.

Wooster's win ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 9-11. As for Sparks, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-17.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Wooster is set to take on their familiar foe Incline at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Sparks will face off against rival South Tahoe at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
