Cuthbertson hadn't done well against Marvin Ridge recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Cuthbertson came out on top against Marvin Ridge by a score of 9-6. This was payback for the Cavaliers, who suffered a 14-4 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The team relied heavily on Caroline Petroff, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Gabby Martens was another key player, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4.
