Basketball Recap: Crested Butte Skates Past Soroco with Ease

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sanford, Crested Butte was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Soroco Rams 64-23. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Titans also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.

Crested Butte's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bridger Flores, who posted 17 points. Another player making a difference was Isaac Jennings, who had nine points.

Crested Butte's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Soroco, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Crested Butte has already played their next matchup, a 67-59 victory against Vail Christian on the 14th. As for Soroco, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 58-39 loss against Nucla on the 14th.
