Recap: Mount Si Wildcats vs. Woodinville Falcons
The Mount Si Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 21 points or more this season. They took their match on the road on Friday with ease, bagging a 68-40 victory over Woodinville. Given Mount Si's advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 16th, while Woodinville is ranked 67th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Mount Si's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Blake Forrest, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. Another player making a difference was Latt Ford, who scored 19 points along with six rebounds.
The victory makes it two in a row for Mount Si and bumps their season record up to 8-2. As for Woodinville, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-5.
Mount Si will take on Inglemoor at 8:15 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Inglemoor focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Friday. As for Woodinville, they will head out on the road to face off against North Creek at 8:10 p.m. on Saturday. North Creek has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
