             Eagle is 8-1-1 against Mountain View since October of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Tuesday. The Eagle Mustangs will host the Mountain View Mavericks  at 7:30  p.m.
 Eagle is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another  one of Idaho's top teams: Caldwell, who was ranked 13th  in their home state at the time (Eagle was ranked 11th). Both  finished up on equal footing with  a  1-1 draw on Tuesday. The result (or lack thereof) marked the Mustangs' first  draw of the season.
 Their goal came courtesy  of 
 Walker Ybarrando, which was the first he's scored this season.
 Meanwhile, Mountain View kept a clean sheet against Caldwell  on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by  a  4-0 margin over the Cougars. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Mavericks considering their one-goal performance the  contest before.
 Mountain View used a slightly different lineup for their bout with Caldwell. Three players hit the pitch for the first time this season:  Jace Obenchain,  Ryan Fugal, and  Nate Belokas. Obenchain made the most of the opportunity,  putting up an  assist. A few more games like that and  he might be seeing even more time going forward.
 Eagle's  draw gives them a new season record of 1-1-1. As for Mountain View, they now  have a winning record of 2-1-1.
 Everything went Eagle's way against Mountain View in their previous matchup  back in September of 2023 as Eagle made off with  a  4-1 victory. Does  Eagle have another victory up their sleeve, or will Mountain View turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
