Gloucester City and Audubon are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2016, but likely not for long. The Lions are taking a road trip to square off against the Green Wave at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither Gloucester City nor Audubon posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Gloucester City can't be too worried about heading out to take on Audubon: they just beat Delran at home, who had been dominant on their own field up to that point. The Lions never let the Bears get on the board and left with a 2-0 win on Monday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

Meanwhile, Audubon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Delran, falling 7-1.

Gloucester City's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-4. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Audubon, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6.

Gloucester City skirted past Audubon 2-1 in their previous meeting back in April. Do the Lions have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Green Wave turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
