Volleyball Recap: IDEA North Mission Comes Up Short

IDEA North Mission came up short against Vanguard Academy Beethoven on Friday, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-7, 25-15, 25-7.

Vanguard Academy Beethoven found their leader in freshman Mia Guajardo, who had six aces.

IDEA North Mission's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Vanguard Academy Beethoven, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. IDEA North Mission is set to square off against their familiar foe IDEA Edinburg College Prep at 7:00 p.m. on October 14. Meanwhile, Vanguard Academy Beethoven will challenge rival IDEA Pharr at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
