Hastings hadn't done well against Irvington recently (they were 0-6 in their previous six matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Yellow Jackets came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 3-1. For the Yellow Jackets, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 win the Bulldogs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2023.

Hastings' victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Irvington, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Hastings will venture away from home to square off against North Salem at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Irvington, they will head out to face off against Dobbs Ferry at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
