Basketball Recap: Abington Heights Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last eight matchups, Abington Heights finally came back down to earth on Friday. They were outmatched by the Scranton Prep Cavaliers and fell 56-27. The contest marked the Comets' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Abington Heights' loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Scranton Prep, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Abington Heights will square off against Valley View at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Scranton Prep, they will face off against West Scranton at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
