Softball Recap: Bella Vista Takes a Loss

Bella Vista fell victim to Ponderosa and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Bruins, falling 6-0. The Broncos have struggled against the Bruins recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Bella Vista saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taytum Thayne, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Bella Vista's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Ponderosa, their win bumped their record up to 6-8.

Coming up, Bella Vista will head out to face off against Rio Americano at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Broncos are facing the Raiders at the right time seeing as the Raiders are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Ponderosa, they have already played their next contest, a 4-1 victory against Inderkum on the 8th.
