Daniel won the last time they faced Liberty and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Lions walked away with a 2-0 win over the Red Devils. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

Their offense was headlined by Anusha Venayagamoorthy and Michaela Reed, who picked up nine kills apiece. They got some help from Lydia Chasteen and her 13 assists. Venayagamoorthy was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Daniel's victory bumped their record up to 4-1-1. As for Liberty, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Daniel has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against West-Oak on the 26th. As for Liberty, they will face off against Landrum at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Red Devils' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
