Volleyball Recap: Brea Olinda Falls to Corona in First Game of Season

Brea Olinda had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 3-1 to the Corona Panthers on Friday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Brea Olinda started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-13, 25-16, 25-14.

The victory was the fifth in a row for Corona, bringing their record up to 5-1.

Coming up, Brea Olinda will host Samueli Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Corona, they will venture away from home to take on Rialto at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
