Volleyball Recap: Prospect Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Prospect can now relate to. They fell just short of the Fremd Vikings by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Knights in their meetings with the Vikings: they've now lost nine in a row.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Prospect sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-23, 21-25, 25-15.

Prospect's defeat dropped their record down to 15-14. As for Fremd, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 26-7.

Prospect does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fremd, they will take on Conant at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
